Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are down in some parts of the world. Multiple users have reported the downtime on platforms including Twitter, and outage tracking platforms have also noted spikes. The social media giant is yet to provide an official response to the complaints. The issues seem to have largely affected users in Europe. The outage impacting all major Facebook products started at around 3:15pm IST and has expanded since then, as per the details available online.
Alongside Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, some users on Facebook Messenger have also reported connectivity issues. Several users have also mentioned that they weren’t able to access feed and even direct messages on Instagram.

According to the DDendector, the problems affected users by 11:00 am on March 19, 2021. Wednesday. Users from India, Sri Lanka, Peru, London, New Delhi, New York, Brazil, the Netherlands, Germany, Egypt, Colombia, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Romania, Trinidad, Tobago and Ireland have complained about problems with WhatsApp.
